Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Conway Landscapes respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Conway Landscapes is a garden landscaping company based in Bishop’s Stortford, working across Essex and Hertfordshire. We are the data controller for the personal information you share with us through this website and our enquiry forms.
What we collect
When you contact us, request a quote, or subscribe to our journal notes, we collect the details you choose to give us — typically your name, email address, phone number, and a short summary of your project. If you attach photographs or site notes, those are stored alongside your enquiry.
Why we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange site visits, prepare quotations, and carry out the work you ask us to do. We may also use the email address you provide to send occasional journal notes, and you can unsubscribe from those at any time.
Legal basis
We process your personal information on the basis of the consent you give us when you submit a form, and because it is necessary to take steps before entering into a contract for the landscaping services you enquire about.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with trusted third parties who help us deliver our services — for example hosting and email providers — and only where necessary to respond to your enquiry or complete your project. All such parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project records for as long as is necessary to deliver your project and handle any follow-up, and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and warranty purposes. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to access the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, request that it be deleted, object to certain processing, and withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@conwaylandscapes.com.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function and to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use cookies to identify you personally or to build an advertising profile.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Contact
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact Conway Landscapes at info@conwaylandscapes.com or by post at Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire.
